A life-long pro-choice activist, Alicia is a member of the Board of Advocates of Planned Parenthood of the Great Northwest and Hawaiian Islands. She has also volunteered as a PP citizen lobbyist, speaking directly to lawmakers about issues related to public health and family planning funding.
As a Board of Advocates member, Alicia assembled a CD compilation of 18 Northwest bands and artists (including Star Anna, RA Scion, We Are Golden, Ian Moore, Choklate, and The Volcano Diary) to benefit PPGNW’s Someone You Know Fund. 100% of the proceeds went to the cause. The project was endorsed by Cecile Richards, president of the Planned Parenthood Federation of America.
