Born in Vancouver, Canada to a family of Grammy Award winning symphony musicians, Alicia trained as a vocalist from an early age. She is a graduate of the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York City, where she studied musical theater. Alicia moved to Seattle in the mid-90’s and has remained a fixture on the local scene. Since beginning her singing career at age 7, Alicia has appeared as a session vocalist on over 50 recordings, both artistic and commercial. Her original songs have been used in film and TV soundtracks since the mid-oughts, and she has collaborated on songs for film scores by local filmmakers. Alicia’s acclaimed solo release is The Secret Dream of Tigers on Chroma Records. She has toured nationally and appeared at the Knitting Factory in New York, the Limelight in Nashville, and at The Mint and Genghis Cohen in LA.
